Beneath the Surface (2018–2026)
Beneath the Surface is a quiet meditation on the unspoken dialogue between the body and the space it occupies. Over eight years, this project has become a search for the invisible seams where human presence melts into material form. It is an exploration of weight, stillness, and the gentle friction of time.
The images do not merely document; they listen to the whispers of light, shadow, and texture. They capture the fragile moment before an imprint fades into memory. Printed on fine art paper, the work becomes a tactile extension of this slowness—an invitation to pause, look closer, and feel the currents of life moving softly beneath the visible surface.
